In addition to being the Body of Christ, Novaliches Christian Fellowship Inc. (NCF) is a non-profit organization operating in accordance with the laws of the Philippines. The Board of Trustees oversees the business administration, financial and legal responsibilities of the church. Every effort is made to provide an organizational framework that will provide financial accountability without inhibiting the moving of God’s Spirit.

The corporate powers of the church shall be exercised, its business conducted and its property controlled by the Board of Trustees who shall be the officers duly elected by the member at the annual meeting, or at such subsequent meeting called for such purpose and shall hold office for one (1) year and until their successor/s are duly elected and qualified.

QUALIFICATIONS

No member shall be eligible for the Board of Trustees unless the following qualifications are present:

  1. He / she must be a born-again believer.
  2. He / she must be baptized through immersion.
  3. He / she must be an active member for at least one year.
  4. He / she must have a good testimony.
  5. He / she must be a Filipino citizen.
  6. He / she must be at least 21 years old.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Board of Trustees is God’s custodian and steward of the church. It should set policies to carry out the mission for which the church is established and should see to it that these policies are implemented.

  1. Ensure adequate resources
  2. Ensure effective management of the church’s funds and other assets
  3. Ensure existence and implementation of sound management and administrative policies
  4. Support the Senior Pastor and provide constructive feedback
  5. Consult with the Senior Pastor on personnel matters as requested
  6. Understand and support the church’s mission and purposes
  7. Participate with the Senior Pastor and other church leadership in strategic planning
  8. Assess its own performance once a year.
