Social Services

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2

Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.
Proverbs 3:27 NIV

What is the Ministry all about?

In August 1996, NCF launched the Social Services Ministry. It was a response to the call of the growing number of its members seeking assistance and some walk-in needy individuals who saw the Church as a source of help. Effectively, the Social Services Ministry is one of the several programs that translate the Vision and Mission of NCF.

Among the functions and services of the Social Services Ministry are the following:

  1. To extend financial assistance to members and their immediate families to address the following needs:
    1. Medical (hospitalization, medicines, etc.)
    2. Funeral
    3. Transportation
    4. Emergency needs due to natural and man-made disasters (house repairs, etc)
    5. Job search
    6. Scholarship for religious education
  2. To extend interest-free loans to finance livelihood projects, education, vocational training and other similar purposes that are developmental in nature.
  3. To provide material assistance (food & clothing) to needy members, their families and other persons needing such assistance.
  4. To sponsor livelihood and other training seminars that would enable participants to gain skills for economic productivity and self-development.
  5. To extend counseling and referral services to entities outside of NCF.

Assistance and services are availed by application and subject to thorough review. You may get in touch with Senior Pastor Mark Dantes or Ministry Head Filipinas Altuna.
